Our Story
Chas and Ashley surprisingly both went to the same high school, Lecanto High School, and never dated! Chas claims he never met Ashley until far after graduating, but Ashley claims otherwise. Only a few years behind Chas, Ashley (officially) met Chas at a restaurant in Inverness, October of 2016, when Chas was organizing a local political event. It was their shared interest in freedom and politics that initially brought them together, but they would quickly discover their shared interests would only grow.
Chas and Ashley quickly discovered they also shared the same love and passion for creating music and singing. Ashley invited Chas over to her house in Inverness to write music a few weeks later, and the rest is history! On January 10, 2017, Chas convinced Ashley to make the relationship official. Six years later (what took him so long?!) Chas, finally popped the question to Ashley at Liberty Park in Inverness. We are so blessed to have you at our wedding to begin this chapter of our journey together!

Charles (Chas) Norfleet Sanders II
Chas was born in Tampa, FL and moved to Citrus County, FL when he was 3 months old with his family. Growing up, Chas enjoyed playing guitar, playing baseball, writing music, and many outdoor activities. These days, Chas enjoys much of the same (except he’s too old for baseball now) and works as a construction superintendent for a commercial GC here in Orlando, FL.
The Bride
Ashley Marie McCoy
Ashley was born in Easton, Maryland and still has a deep steamed taste for some legendary Maryland seafood! Around the age of 5, she moved to St. Pete with her family, then Citrus County shortly after. When Ashley was growing up, she enjoyed being a star athlete in softball as well as an acclaimed singer. Today, Ashley continues enjoying singing and works as a child care professional.
